After a long and difficult fight, the 1911 census has finally been released and made available online by Library and Archives Canada.
Surname list of Cardston Area Researchers and Websites
This is a list (by surname) of websites that describe Cardston area families and of researchers who are interested in that particular surname. In most cases email links are included to help you get in contact with your fellow researchers. If you would like to add information, including links to an existing website, a link is provided for doing so. This is volume one of the most extensive local history book on Cardston and District. It was published in 1978 by the local historical society and contains massive amounts of information on the families and places of the area.

This is volume two of the most extensive local history book on Cardston and District.
Land of the Second Chance: Ethnic Groups in Southern Alberta
This book documents the events and activities related to the many religious and ethnic groups who settled in Southern Alberta, including the Hutterites and Mormons that have been of such significance in the Cardston area.
The Cardston News (1934-1944)
Includes issues of The Cardston News published between 1934 and 1944.
1914 Alberta Geologic Survey Map (very large)
This massive mining survey map gives a great deal of detail about what this area was like in 1914.
